The construction began in 1216, ended in 1238 and was consecrated in 1240 on the great holiday of Vardavar.<\/p>\n<p>Later, in 1261, after the death of her husband, the wife decided to build the vestibule of Gandzasar, where her husband was buried.<\/p>\n<p>It is said that, Hassan Jalal did not convert, for which he was tortured to death in 1261, then a light fell on Hassan\u2019s body, and a Persian, seeing him, believed that he was a saint, collected the relics of the body and kept them in a dry well. Hasan Jalal\u2019s son brings the relics of his father to his homeland and buring them in the vestibule of the monastery built by his mother.
